A party can win a landslide majority in Parliament without winning anywhere close to a majority of votes — so the result "doesn't reflect what people voted for."
What is true
The gap is real and large: Labour's seat share was 29.5 percentage points higher than its vote share, and Reform UK won 14.3% of the vote for 0.8% of seats. Anyone surprised by the size of that gap is reading the numbers correctly.
